WITNESS STATEMENTS

During what appears to have been an entirely unnecessary attempt to mount a miniature horse with full cowboy confidence, Hank initiated what witnesses would later classify as an overly optimistic riding maneuver. Iris, who was laughing from the start and offering what may or may not have been helpful guidance, assisted by holding the saddle while Hank attempted to swing a leg over the pony. The maneuver quickly escalated into a series of increasingly undignified outcomes: Hank briefly achieved partial balance, immediately lost it, slid sideways off the pony, and landed in the dirt while the horse calmly walked away, seemingly unimpressed. Iris then mounted the pony herself and rode off down the trail at high speed with both arms raised in delighted chaos while Hank sprinted behind in the dust attempting to reclaim both the situation and his dignity. The incident concluded with Hank carrying Iris back down the trail in a gentlemanly recovery effort while the pony followed behind them like a small judgmental supervisor who had seen everything.
